Fall 2008
Ernest Cassis of Westerly
restored the Civil War-era cannon on the lawn of the Westerly Armory.
This involved sandblasting, special primer, and an enormous amount of
labor. Pictured above is Ernie (left) with some of the members of
the Executive Board (Hayward Gatch IV, Maggie Reaske,
Roberta Humble, Kathrynn Cabigting, Carrie Soucy, Hope Benn, Joyce
Robertson, and George Wildes).
